Q?What is the center’s Visiting Policy?

Phone calls for an on-sight visit, by appointment only, are required to view our center. Walk-in visitors are not allowed for the security and safety of the children. At the time of the sight visit you will be provided with enrollment and financial forms.

Once you have made the decision to enroll your child, the enrollment form must be returned with the registration fee to ensure your “spot” is held for your start date. No “spot” is guaranteed until the enrollment form and non-refundable registration fee are received.

Upon receipt of the enrollment form and registration fee an appointment will be scheduled for you to meet with the Director to review all required paperwork and to receive a copy of the Parent Guide. This is also a good time to re-visit the center, giving your child the opportunity to become more familiar with our faces and our environment.

Q?What is your Inclement Weather Policy?

Webster Child Care Collaborative reserves the right to call for emergency closings when necessary.  Closings will be in keeping with information provided by weather, police, state, and rescue personnel.  Tuition will be due if the center is closed due to unanticipated emergency or weather.

  • You can call the center (508) 943-7775 to leave a message if your child is not coming in.  This allows us to track the children who are remaining home.
  • If your email has been provided to the center, notification will be sent by email if there is an emergency closing and the internet is available.
  • A notice will also be placed on our FaceBook page if the internet is available.
  • If you call the center after 6:00am, if the center is open, there will be staff to answer the phone to advise you of this.

In the event of early closings, each parent or guardian will be notified by phone and/or email, please make arrangement to pick up your child as soon as possible.  We do not want children or staff stranded at the center.  If you have a long commute, it is a good idea to arrange for a “back up” person who can pick up your child quickly.

If we call you during the day to announce that the center is closing due to serious weather conditions, you must pick up your child by the designated time.  Late pick up charges will be enforced if a child is picked up after the designated closing time.

Our goal is to always have the center open during normal operating hours.  If a decision is made to close the center it is made with everyone’s safety in mind.
